(...) von dem Proconsuln Lucilius Africanus , einem Mann senatorischen Ranges, gegen (...). Ich habe befohlen, dass eine Abschrift meines Urteils ausgehändigt wird. Diese Gesandtschaft (...). Gehabt Euch wohl. Im Jahr, als Quintillus (Plautius Quintillus) und Priscus (Marcus Statius Priscus Licinius Italicus) Consuln waren (159 n. Chr.), (...) ein Privileg, dessen Veranlasser nicht nachgewiesen werden konnte (...), der Obulculenser, und wegen der langen Gewohnheit dieser Abgabe (...) dass fünf Prozent (?) eingezogen werden. The emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Augustus Pius [= Antoninus Pius], son of the deified Hadrian, grandson of the deified Trajan, great-grandson of the deified Nerva, highest priest, holder of tribunician power for the 22nd time [i.e. 10 December 158 to 9 December 159], consul for the 4th time, father of the fatherland, greets the quattuorviri [literally ‚the four men‘, the leading civic office holders] and the councillors (decuriones) of Obulculae. (...) by Lucilius Africanus, provincial governor (proconsul), of clarissimus rank, against (...) I gave order that an example of my decree be attached; this mission (?). (...) fare thee well.
