The Marmor Parium, from the island of Paros, is a document written on stone and constituted by two major fragments, of which the first has also lost a part. It was written in 264/3 BC (and we know that because of the Athenian archon Diognetus which is named in l. 3). The text is a list of events from the reign of king Cecrops (1581/80 BC) to the archonship of Euctemon (299/8 BC). There is a date in acrophonic numerals (which are actually the number of years between the writing date and the event described) and a short description of what happened in that year worth being recorded on the stone.

Here are the timelines of the events listed prepared by the Digital Marmor Parium team.
