A small ceramic cup from Clunia Sulpicia with a unique decoration: a geometric figure with several labels: the longest contains a question and the others are numerals for feet, inches and their fraction, expressed as apthecarian measurements. Not only letters and words, also drawings and calculation needed to be written. And why not onto a pot?
