The X Epigraphy.info Workshop, held at the University of Graz (Austria) from 24 to 26 March 2026, brought together students and scholars from across the international community to exchange ideas and discuss methods, tools, and future perspectives in digital epigraphy.

During the poster session, Maria Rosaria Ariano presented her research thanks to the financial support of the International Digital Epigraphy Association (IDEA). Her contribution, entitled “From Stone to Dataset: Proposing a Digital Workflow for Analysing Out-of-Context Inscriptions. An Example of a Votive Dedication in Eastern Sicily”, forms part of a broader research project focused on integrating traditional epigraphic approaches with digital methodologies.

The study addresses Siceliote inscriptions, which are often examined outside their original archaeological context, and proposes a structured digital workflow to support their analysis. This work highlights the growing importance of interdisciplinary and digital approaches in advancing research in the field of epigraphy.
