Last week IDEA’s Board met to discuss all the requests for financial support that have arrived prior to the September 30th deadline. The proposals were carefully analyzed and evaluated and finally the Board unanimously decided to assign two 1,000 EURO grants this time.

One grant will go to a project presented by Marta Fogagnolo, that aims at checking and fixing the EpiDoc files of the digital corpus of the Ashmolean Latin Inscriptions Project (Warwick University, Centre for the Study of Ancient Documents at Oxford University, Ashmolean Museum) in the EAGLE portal.

The other grant will go to a project presented by Antonello Vilella, that focuses on the cases of interference and redundancy between EDR and EDH and will improve the harmonization between the two databases.

Both projects will then provide a tangible enhancement of the EAGLE database and this is the main reason why they were chosen as winner of the grants.

We would like to thank all the participants for sending their proposals and remind you that the next deadline will be in the Spring of 2020.
