New cooperation between EAGLE and Perseus Digital Library
The Perseus Digital Library is delighted to announce its upcoming collaboration with EAGLE. The two teams will explore their mutual interest in epigraphy. Questions to be addressed include identifiers for and the format of digital editions for epigraphy, imaging and the relationship between text and object, as well as vocabularies and alignments between languages. Attic Inscriptions Online (AIO) is delighted to announce that it has concluded an affiliation agreement with EAGLE. AIO publishes new, authoritative English translations, based on up-to-date texts, of the largest corpus of Greek inscriptions, that of Athens and Attica, with the objective of making the inscriptions more accessible, not only to researchers, but also to teachers and learners, and to a wider public.
